Hi there, my name is Marc Cohen and I’ve created this site LoseBellyFat.com to help people who are struggling to lose fat and take back control of their body.

Through most of my life, I’ve never really been the “fit” kid. Although I was decent at tennis, I was usually picked last when we would play sports. My breakfast, lunch, and dinner would usually consist of some sort of cereal. My physical activity mostly consisted of walking to and from the couch to watch TV or play videogames. I wasn’t obese by any stretch of the imagination, but I was certainly overweight, unhealthy, and most definitely unhappy.

It wasn’t until nearly the end of high school that I got fed up. I’ll always remember the exact moment when I turned everything around. I was in bed, getting ready to go to sleep for school the next day, and something in me just clicked. ┬áMy entire life up until that point I had identified myself with someone who is out of shape, someone who wasn’t athletic, someone who was, for all intensive purposes, a loser.

As I was sitting there reflecting, I thought “Marc, are you really going to let yourself be this way for the rest of your life? Are you going to let yourself stay unhappy and unhealthy? Or are you going to do something about it?”

I really only had two choices. Continue to suffer and be miserable, or make a commitment to making a change. To take responsibility for my life and my health and actually do something about it.

So I did something about it. Actually, I jumped out of bed and immediately started working out. I was inexperienced and had no idea what I was doing, so it was mostly crunches, pushups, jumping jacks, and running in place. I probably looked a little silly running in place in my bedroom, but I didn’t care. It was time to take action.

The next day I signed up at a local gym. After about 30 minutes of working out, I realized that I REALLY had no idea what I was doing in the gym. I had never lifted a weight once in my life, let alone do a complete weightlifting workout. So as soon as I got home, I went online and began searching around for workout advice, routines, nutrition information — the works. If it had to do with fitness, I wanted to know everything about it.

At some point during my search, I stumbled upon a product called The Truth About Abs. Being a relatively savvy internet user, I’m always very skeptical about pages that try to sell me stuff. But something was different this time. Something about this product spoke to my situation. So I took the plunge, splurged the $39.95 for it, and dug in.

And the rest is history.

Since that “fateful” night, I’ve gotten myself consistently below 10% bodyfat, I play sports all the time and have no issues with my conditioning. I eat healthy and generally have no trouble avoiding “bad” foods. And I now have the knowledge to live and be healthy for the rest of my life.

While I was having success losing fat and getting in shape, my friends and family started to take notice. They wanted to know my “secret”. I spent some time helping them make better food & exercise choices, and realized that I really enjoyed helping them. I saw that LoseBellyFat.com was available, and decided that that would be my platform to start helping more people.

While I am not a certified fitness professional or nutritionist, I have spent hundreds of hours learning from the best and brightest in the industry. I know that from my experience, and from the experience of other experts, this website can help you achieve your weight loss goals, answer any fitness and nutrition questions that you might have, and point you in the right direction for fat loss success.

So what is LoseBellyFat.com all about?

Simple. It’s all about you! We strive to provide you with the best fat loss, fitness, and nutritional information we can. We do not promote fad diets (though we do discuss them), bad supplements, or weight loss surgeries. Anything that I recommend on this website is something that I have personally reviewed and believe in. If it’s not something I wouldn’t try or do myself, I won’t recommend it here.
