Nutrition Facts
A single avocado has a whopping 322 calories. Remember not all avocados are the same size so calorie counts will vary depending how big or small your avocado is. However, one avocado is a lot for one person to eat and I don’t recommend eating quite so much. Slice it and use a little here and there on your food. One cup of sliced avocado holds 234 calories and this is still a lot, but much more reasonable that an entire avocado. Avocados are a good source of Dietary Fiber and Vitamin C. They are also a good source of Vitamin K and Folate which is a very important part of a healthy diet.

Should I eat Avocados to lose weight?
Avocados are a great snack that can be eaten in a variety of ways. Whether in salsa or sushi, it is both a food and condiment with a unique taste and many benefits. Personally, I don’t like to eat avocados plain, but I find if I add some to a sandwich or salsa, it adds a savory kick. If you are trying to lose weight, or just be healthy in general, I would not eat an entire avocado in one sitting. Try using part of it in your cooking or maybe a whole after several days because it is high in calories. Or just split one with a friend.
