Cheerios taste good for breakfast or for an afternoon snack with a side of fruit. However, I would not recommended them for weight loss because they are so high in carbohydrates. These carbs will turn into sugar (unless you burn them off) and be almost immediately stored as  fat. Cheerios do have benefits such as lowering cholesterol and tons of vitamins and minerals. So if you are eating Cheerios you will benefit from its nutrients, but you are unlikely to lose weight. I would not eat Cheerios more than once a day and even that is pushing it a little. Combining Cheerios with strawberries or grapes is one of my favorite snacks that I eat on occasion.
